A SharNoks are a marine mammals that lived in Hydrosmic that are closely related to canines. These terrifying creatures was believed to be the decedent to similar pack animals lived in the ancient times when the wave planet was lush with vegetation and life. But as the mantle of the planet began to crumble, the land pieces fell with it. But some found refuge on the dense piece of land in the northern seas. Since then, they have evolved to fit their watery climate and terrain.

The SharNoks have claws that can retract fully and when extend to their maximum length, resembles a bird of prey's talons, perfect for cutting deep into the fat-filled flesh of slippery preys. Their fur trap air bubbles and extremely waterproof due to the oils given off by glands behind their front paws. The dark eyes are fully capable to see in near darkness of their hostile planet. Due to loud thunders produced by storms late in their evolution, their ears became useless and the remaining protrusion of the ear became extra sensory organs to feel the water current, amount of ion in the water and air. But their sense of smell is superior as it is twice as powerful as a normal canine, as it uses to track down carcasses.

The SharNoks travel closely in groups called destroyers. A destroyer contain up to twenty SharNoks. Lesser group of ten is called a frigate. Though rarely seen, sometime, usually during breeding seasons, SharNoks travel in groups up to two hundred called a dreadnought.

The SharNoks society called system, is made out of a the:

  • Grand, or the leader of the system. Born without a gender, this "subspecies" has a thick external skull that start growing during the the first breeding season after the internal skull is solid enough to support the weight. The odds of getting a Grand is one out of a thousand. The Grand fights for territory and has an extra pair of canine teeth on his lower jaw.
  • Warrior: Protect the system and hunts for food.
  • Breeder: A role taken by the Females of the system. Once mature at the age of six months, the life has been contributed to producing the next generation.
